6821 Hwy. 73,
Evergreen, CO

Do you know
your Merlots from your Pinots? How about your Chardonnays from your Shirazes?
Well, Grape lovers, either way you answer, your Night is coming! For the ninth
year running, your Chamber is presenting their Fall Wine Tasting Event at The
Meadows in Marshdale. Attendees may anticipate live music by MoDaZz, door
prizes, auctions of wonderful and valuable items, community fellowship and great
fun; an all-around fantastic evening, which has become one of the most popular
of the many Chamber events.

delectable appetizers and samples of their most excellent fares. Everything is

Tasting Event value on the calendar.
The Event’s Organizing Committee meets regularly and still seeks interested
Volunteers, Sponsors, Door Prizes, and Auction items.

$200. Tickets at the door will be $30.
CANDLELIGHT WALK

Downtown Golden Colorado
Clear Creek River View
This event
started many years ago when a hundred or so locals gathered near the Foothills
Art Center to walk down Washington Avenue carrying candles and singing Christmas
songs. Word has spread throughout town, and now thousands show up, still
carrying candles and still singing, and still walking downhill from Foothills to
the Creek. When the group reaches the Creek, the Mayor flips a switch and all of
the holiday lights along Clear Creek go on, eliciting gasps of admiration and
much applause. Many groups participate in this event: there are crafts and
campfires at the Clear Creek History Park, roasted chestnuts and music at the
Pioneer Museum, musical performances at the Rotary Amphitheater (on the Creek,
behind the fire station), reindeer to be petted at the Visitors Center. All in
all, it's kind of a short (2 or 3 hour long) winter carnival. This event occurs
on a Friday night--generally the last in November or the first in December.
OLDE GOLDEN CHRISTMAS

Downtown Golden Colorado
Howdy Folks Welcome to Golden
Every
Saturday between Thanksgiving and Christmas the Chamber of Commerce hosts
special Christmas events all day in the downtown area. Each Saturday starts with
a parade. The parades last about half an hour and include Santa Claus, local
bands, local businesses, local scout troops, etc. The Saturdays go on to include
strolling musicians along Washington Avenue, free horse-drawn carriage rides,
and tasty treats provided by the stores. It's fun, and it really does make
Christmas shopping in downtown Golden even more appealing

Jousting
knights, damsels in distress, hordes of hilarious entertainers, and a bevy of
food and beverage makes this one of Colorado's most popular annual events. For
eight summer weekends, you and the kids can travel back in time, just by driving
about a half hour south of Denver. Vendors offer crafts and souvenirs, and there
are demonstrations of everything from glass blowing to old-fashioned spinning
and weaving. Traditional music and food round out the offerings, and special
themes each weekend celebrate topics such as wine, international music and
dance, beer and ale, and romance.
