DOWNTOWN/LODO:

Speer Boulevard, 23rd Street and Lawrence Street has been transformed unlike any
other in Denver. Former early frontier town, 1920s Market Street red-light
district and 1970s warehouse center, LoDo now epitomizes ideal urban living.
Wooden buildings destroyed by fire in 1863 resulted in LoDo's characteristic
simple designs with red brick and arched windows. Once a robust transportation
hub, stagecoaches carrying gold left the Wells Fargo Depot at 1338 15th Street
and Union Station trafficked over 80 trains a day.

FLOUR MILL LOFTS

The Flour Mill Lofts building was built in 1920 and is now on the National
Register of Historic Places. The old flour mill sat abandoned for years until
1998 when the building was thoroughly restored and converted into 17 lofts. The

around 1894 as a warehouse during Denver's Rail/Streetcar Era. In the early
1900's, the American Furniture Company started to use this building as a
warehouse for its retail store on Lawrence Street. Over the last century it has
been used as a warehouse for a variety of transfer and storage businesses
including sporting goods retailers.
WaterTower Lofts is one of the historic LoDo brick and timber buildings that
