The area’s best views are seen from Conifer Mountain. Conifer Mountain is located off Kennedy Gulch. Some of the home sites reach altitudes over 9,000 feet above sea level. Most lots are at least two acres and many have more acreage. Conifer Mountain views include Denver city lights, Denver International Airport, Pike’s Peak, Mt. Evans' and the Continental Divide. Conifer Mountain elevation is approximately 9600. Conifer Mountain was development by former Governor Roy Romer. Many of the roads on Conifer Mountain were named after Governor Romer's family members including Bea's Drive named after his wife. Conifer Mountain is accessed off Hwy 285 and Kennedy Gulch Road. Kennedy Gulch provides a beautiful and scenic drive up the mountain. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to the top of Conifer Mountain. On your drive up you will see an abundance of Aspen groves along the roadside and you may spot an elk or two. Other roads include Christopher Drive, Mary's Drive, Paul's Drive, Thomas Drive, Nancy's Lane, Timothy Drive, Edward Drive and Barney's Gulch to mention a few.
